2. Inspect vehicle, ensure vehicle are maintained

4. Brief drivers on today tasking, updates, previous days mistakes
5. Ensure close communication with drivers to help resolve any problems that arise
6. Liaise with suppliers for any emergency ordering
7. Monitor drivers deliveries, ensuring all critical points are attended to, liaising with customers to help ensure
smoother delivery (alerting customers of delay, booking of loading bay, speak to customers on method of delivery if drivers are met with issues)
8. Prepare for replacement drivers if drivers are not available
9. Cover driver in the event where no replacement drivers are available
10. Prepare checklist and SOP to ensure smooth and consistent operations
11. Evaluate drivers performance on a daily basis
12. Logging of any issues that arise and follow up to close the issue
13. Report to Ops Director on weekly operation performance (utilization, driver performance, customer complaints), teething issues to resolve
14. Take care of the welfare of the operations team (some budget to take of the team)
